For the past 35 years, Rivo Alto and its affiliated companies have invested in and directly developed real estate backed assets. We focus on opportunities in the real estate industry where we perceive an advantageous edge in the risk / reward investment balance.

Our investment activities are concentrated in two segments of the distressed real estate asset market: 1) the purchase of tax lien certificates and tax deeds; and 2) the purchase of distressed real estate backed loans.

In addition, through our development arm, Universal Realty, we serve as preferred developers for some of the industry's leading national credit tenants.

Finally through Asset Recovery Group, LLC, we act as receivers for several regional and national banking institutions.
