For the past 35 years, Rivo Alto and its affiliated companies have acted as merchant developers and investors in credit tenant real estate. Through our development arm, Universal Realty, we serve as preferred developers for some of the industry's leading national credit tenants. In addition, we manage Rivo Alto Development Limited Partnership, which has a mandate to invest in and finance credit tenant properties.

Concurrently with our development activities, we are focused on two segments of the distressed real estate asset market: 1) We are buyers of real estate backed loans; and 2) We act as receivers for several regional and national banking institutions.

In 2008-2009, we have been awarded several receiverships and are working closely with developers and institutions to work out their problem loans.
